SAFE 229 - HAZARDOUS MATERIAL TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE
  • PLO 1: Identify and mitigate industrial and environmental safety violations and develop appropriate solutions.
    • CLO 1: Describe industrial safety and health management procedures, methods, and topics relating to the transportation, storage, and handling of hazardous materials.
  • PLO 2: Interpret, select, and apply appropriate industrial and environmental safety standards.
    • CLO 3: Justify compliance with OSHA standards as they relate to CFR 49 and the modal and function specific considerations of hazardous material
  • PLO 3: Develop and enforce industrial and environmental safety plans for use in industry.
    • CLO 1: Describe industrial safety and health management procedures, methods, and topics relating to the transportation, storage, and handling of hazardous materials.
    • CLO 2: Demonstrate awareness of security risks associated with the hazmat transportation process and ways to enhance security, determine applicability of security risks and relate to CFR 49.
