TECN 121 - FLUID POWER SYSTEMS
  • PLO 1: Demonstrate knowledge, techniques, skills, and use of the appropriate tools to install, repair, maintain and test mechanical systems
    • CLO 1: Interpret and apply fundamental principles of fluid power, including Pascal's Law, Bernoulli’s principle and the gas laws that govern the mechanics of fluids in industrial fluid power systems.
    • CLO 3: Identify and describe the functions and interactions of major components within hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
    • CLO 4: Use FluidSim software to create basic hydraulic and pneumatic circuit schematics.
    • CLO 5: Construct, test and troubleshoot basic hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
  • PLO 2: Demonstrate an ability to function effectively as a member of a technical team
    • CLO 7: Demonstrate proficient communication strategies to effectively convey necessary technical information to colleagues, clients, or team members.
