Course Code
CAMM 235 - CAD-CAM GRAPHICS
Learning Outcomes Relationships
PLO 1: Demonstrate the ability to write and troubleshoot/debug CNC programs for appropriate ET/mechanical design applications.
CLO 1: Graphically program a CNC controller using a CAM software program.
CLO 2: Define, construct and modify two and three-dimensional part geometry for creation of cutter path entities and code generation using a CNC graphics package.
CLO 3: Import computer generated part information from a CAD database for use as geometric part definitions for programming.
CLO 4: Modify CAM post-processors to obtain correctly formatted programs.
CLO 5: Recognize the need for creating accurate CAD drawings and NC programs.
PLO 2: Demonstrate the ability to problem solve and make recommendations for improvement, both orally and through written technical reports.
