  • PLO 1: Defend choices and aesthetic judgements in own work.\n
    • CLO 1: Understanding of how basic design principles and elements, including color, visual hierarchy and layout; are utilized to address specific problems in information design, interface design, and interactivity.
    • CLO 2: Demonstrate the ability to defend aesthetic judgments and design choices in own work, and the ability to analyze and criticize various design choices in the work of others.
    • CLO 3: Demonstrate a basic knowledge of principles, concepts, and procedures, needed to produce effectively designed websites that address the particular cultural, economic, and/or social factors of a client.
    • CLO 4: Demonstrate a basic understanding of current tools and technology, including their roles in the creation and distribution of web-based interactive content. Relevant tools and technologies include, but are not limited to, concept drawing, cognitive mapping, digital imaging, computer programming, 2d design, motion graphics, photography, and illustration.
    • CLO 5: Demonstrate a basic knowledge of the history and theory of net art and web design from a variety of perspectives; including conceptual art, telematic art, public art, and design history.
