Learning Outcomes Relationships
PLO 3: Apply appropriate counseling therapies and/or recognized treatments in assisting clients in various correctional settings including but not limited to long and short-term correctional facilities, diversion, and post-incarceration aftercare programs
CLO 1: Recognize symptoms of specific medical emergencies (e.g. diabetes, seizures, heart attack, stroke, bleeding, trauma etc).
CLO 2: Identify the major risk factors for cardiovascular disease and emergency medical conditions.
CLO 3: Utilize skills to communicate, assess and treat individuals encompassing all ages and populations.
CLO 4: Demonstrate first aid responder skills and precautions for treating a variety of medical emergencies.
