ALHN 127 - INTRODUCTION TO MEDICAL RECORDS
  • PLO 2: Perform technical skills of computer applications involving Electronic Medical Records and data entry as well as various other healthcare related computer programs.
    • CLO 1: Demonstrate basic computer literacy, health information literacy and skills, confidentiality and privacy of health records, information security and basic skills in the use of electronic health records.
    • CLO 3: Apply the fundamentals of confidentiality, privacy and security to communicate health/medical information accurately and within legal/regulatory bounds across the organization and between organizations.
    • CLO 4: Perform functions within Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Personal Health Record (PHR) to ensure accurate information, retrieve information and maintain data.
  • PLO 3: Utilize critical thinking for clinical judgment, decision making, communication and customer service with an understanding of HIPAA regulations while utilizing appropriate medical terminology.
