HPED 261 - EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGY FOUNDATIONS
  • PLO 7: Perform safe, ethical and legal practices in various career-related settings (e.g. cardiac rehabilitation, sports conditioning, corporate wellness, fitness and recreational centers)
    • CLO 1: Identify and define the components of physical fitness.
    • CLO 2: Evaluate and assess cardiorespiratory fitness, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, body compositions, and learn to determine appropriate recommendations for exercise.
    • CLO 3: Design and implement an exercise prescription for cardiorespiratory fitness, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility for personal use by utilizing basic exercise physiology and basic anatomy.
    • CLO 4: Perform measurement and evaluation of cardiorespiratory fitness, muscle strength, muscle endurance, flexibility, body composition and somatotyping
    • CLO 5: Analyze the relationship between nutrition, good health.
    • CLO 6: Describe lifestyle factors that may impact weight management and health behaviors.
