Learning Outcomes Relationships
PLO 1: Ability to know which measurement and test equipment(M&TE) tools are appropriate for various applications and use measuring instruments accurately in manufacturing processes for reliable data collection.
CLO 1: Apply properties of 2D shapes, 3D shapes, and angles, utilizing the Pythagorean Theorem as needed.
CLO 2: Communicate about measurement using proper units and notation.
CLO 3: Perform conversions with units of measurements and rate measurements.
PLO 2: Ability to read and interpret industrial blueprints (drawings), including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
CLO 1: Apply properties of 2D shapes, 3D shapes, and angles, utilizing the Pythagorean Theorem as needed.
CLO 7: Identify right and oblique triangles and apply trigonometric functions, inverse trigonometric functions, the Law of Sines, and the Law of Cosines as needed to find missing measurements.
