SRGT 114 - SURGICAL TECHNOLOGY II - SURGICAL PROCEDURES
  • PLO 1: Students will be competent as surgical technologists in both the scrub and circulator roles.
    • CLO 1: Describe surgical procedures common to each surgical specialty.
    • CLO 2: Describe the surgical technologist’s role during each step of the surgical procedure.
    • CLO 3: Describe the use and safety precautions for associated instruments, supplies, equipment, suture, medications and irrigating fluids.
    • CLO 4: Demonstrate the first scrub role on minor and major surgical procedures.
