Learning Outcomes Relationships
PLO 1: Analyze the breadth, movement, and interconnectedness of various representations of human thought and expression by using appropriate methods and concepts.
CLO 2: Identify characteristics of architectural styles from the colonial through 20th century periods.
CLO 3: Understand the social and symbolic expressions of national and cultural identities evident in American architecture.
CLO 4: Appreciate American innovations by key architects in history, as well as local landmarks of northern Ohio (Western Reserve region).
PLO 2: Create critical and reflective oral or written interpretations of various works of human thought and expression from different cultures and historical periods and in different modes and disciplines using appropriate methods and concepts.
CLO 5: Be able to interpret examples of architecture in their own communities in light of history, design and social meanings.
