Since 1963, LCCC has proudly served as the “community’s college,” opening doors to opportunity through affordable education and workforce training. Today, that commitment continues to guide us as we help learners of all backgrounds build skills, earn credentials of value, and pursue meaningful careers.

LCCC’s academic and career pathways are intentionally aligned with in-demand jobs across Northeast Ohio, giving students confidence that their education leads to real opportunity. Through strong partnerships with over 800 local employers, LCCC prepares students to enter careers with industry-recognized degrees and credentials, applied learning experiences, and future-ready skills. As a result, over 90% of LCCC graduates choose to live and work in the region.

We recognize that every educational journey is unique. Whether you are looking to earn a credential in as little as 16 weeks, complete an associate degree, or transfer to a bachelor's degree program and beyond, LCCC has designed our programs with your goals in mind. Through LCCC’s University Partnership, students can complete bachelor’s and graduate degrees from leading Ohio universities right here on our campus, saving thousands of dollars in tuition while remaining close to home. In addition, LCCC offers its own Bachelor of Applied Science degrees in high-demand fields, providing students with real-world education and paid earn-and- learn experiences that prepare them for today’s evolving workforce.

Guided by THRIVE 2035, LCCC’s strategic vision, we are focused on expanding opportunity, increasing degree and credential completion, and strengthening the regional workforce. We have set a bold goal to award 35,000 additional degrees and credentials by 2035, which aims to advance economic mobility for individuals and ensure our region is prepared for the work of the future.
