The residential building and renovation one-year general certificate is designed to provide students with the knowledge, cognitive skills and hands-on skills necessary to perform in an entry-level construction position. Employment opportunities exist in a variety of residential construction companies. Every course in the one-year technical certificate program can be applied to the two-year associate of applied science degree in construction technology. Lorain County Community College has articulation agreements with colleges and universities including programs offered by Lorain County Community College’s University Partnership.
