The applied electronics (ELCT) electronics fabrication certificate is designed to provide the student with the entry-­level knowledge and practical skills necessary for employment in the electronic/electrical industry. Students will learn to use standard and specialized electronic test equipment in the laboratory. Upon successful completion students will earn the J-STD-001 Certified IPC Application Specialist (CIS) certificate which focuses on the knowledge and hand skills employees need to produce high quality soldered interconnections. Lorain County Community College has articulation agreements with colleges and universities including programs offered by Lorain County Community College's University Partnership.
