UP Express CSU

The UP Express program, developed by Lorain County Community College and Cleveland State University (CSU), is an extension of LCCC’s successful University Partnership with CSU and is open to all degree programs at CSU.

Program Highlights

• UP Express provides dual admission to LCCC and CSU from day one.
• Students receive a CSU Viking ID and can take advantage of special events and facilities at both institutions.
• Students can take up to three classes at CSU while attending LCCC (one course per semester).
• Collaborative advising provided by both institutions.

Transfer Pathways to CSU

LCCC and CSU create transfer pathways that allow LCCC students to transfer course credits toward specified CSU bachelor’s degrees. Some transfer pathways require students complete a CSU course while enrolled at LCCC via UP Express to ensure student progression in their intended CSU major. UP Express courses will be noted specifically as “UP Express” on the pathways.
