ARCH 155G, INTRODUCTION TO ARCHAEOLOGY 3 (3)
This course introduces the student to Anthropological Archaeology - the study of past human culture using material remains from a sociological perspective. Course emphasizes obtaining goals of archaeological research through: survey, excavation, artifact analysis and interpretation. This course provides a basic understanding of how we learn about ancient societies and how this teaches us about ourselves. ARCH 155G, URBS 155G and SOCY 155G are cross-listed courses. (OT 36, TAG)
