A study of the broad economy including measurement and analysis of economic activity, government and its roles in the market system, the banking system, monetary policy, economic growth and international economics. ECNM 152, PRINCIPLES OF MICROECONOMICS 3 (3)
This course is an introduction to the language, tools, methods and topics of economic analysis. It focuses on the individual components of the economy including households and businesses. Topics include consumer theory, elasticity, profit maximization and general cost analysis. Current domestic economic problems and policies are discussed. (OT 36, TAG)
