Graphic Design, One-Year General Certificate

The one-year certification in Graphic Design from the Department of Visual Arts signifies the successful completion of select courses in art, design, and digital art. This certificate prepares students for various professional contexts, including graphic design, packaging design, multimedia design, web design, editorial design, and user interface design. Graduates are equipped for employment in graphic design or further studies in art, design, or web development. This certification is also ideal for individuals with professional experience looking to enhance their skill set. Lorain County Community College has articulation agreements with various colleges and universities, including programs offered through its University Partnership. National Association of Schools of Art and Design plan approval is expected in 2024.
