The Environmental and Occupational Safety Certificate of Completion prepares individuals for employment in the environmental remediation industry. The training includes HAZWOPER, general safety, hazardous materials handling, safety equipment, first aid and working in confined spaces. The graduate will be prepared for a wide range of positions in the areas of environmental remediation. Students are also prepared to work safely in a wide range of occupational environments. Lorain County Community College has articulation agreements with colleges and universities including programs offered by LCCC's University Partnership.
