Computer Information Systems - Mobile Device Application Development, One-Year Technical Certificate

The one-year technical certificate in mobile device application development prepares students to design and develop applications for modern mobile computing platforms including the iPhone/iPad and Android phones and tablets. Students also learn to write web-based applications specifically targeted at mobile devices. The technical courses are complemented by general education courses in composition, communications and mathematics. The credits earned for this certificate may be applied to an associate of applied business degree in mobile device application development. Lorain County Community College has articulation agreements with colleges and universities including programs offered by Lorain County Community College’s University Partnership.
